What impression does your community leave on visitors and residents? The bronze sculpture of Senator John Humprey looking sternly at his pocket watch as he waits for a train makes quite an impact. For Timothy Klotz, 8-years old in 2007 when the statue was installed, it was quite inspirational. During the unveiling of the statue he said, “It’s our first mayor.” And he added that he too would like to be mayor of Orland Park one day. The Village commissioned us to create the statue to be placed in front of the new train station to celebrate Orland Park’s 115th anniversary.
