Case Study: Fort Sheridan |
Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve sits on the shore of Lake Michigan north of Chicago.
A former Army base with more than a century of active service,
Fort Sheridan has a rich history and a beautiful setting brought
to life by Taylor Studios’ extensive interpretive trail signage
and interactive exhibits. The exhibits include a 30-foot wide Red-tailed
Hawks nest that is used as an outdoor classroom, a reconstruction
of a WWII anti-aircraft gun emplacement, and reconditioned iron
gates and gatepost. |
