
Taylor Studios Hires Amanda Henderson

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Rantoul, IL – Amanda Henderson, exhibit designer, recently joined the Taylor Studios’ team. Henderson is a 2010 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. There, she earned a BFA in Industrial Design with a minor in photography. She worked at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History where she gained valuable exhibit design and fabrication experience. She also interned at Atomic Design. In her new role, Henderson will provide the exhibit and construction drawings for the fabrication of exhibits while ensuring that the exhibit space meets the interpretive, structural, and aesthetic goals set forth by the client. When asked about Henderson, Samantha Tableriou, design manager, said “We are very excited to welcome Amanda to our team. An Industrial Design graduate of Carnegie Mellon, she brings unique perspective, fresh ideas, and innovation to the table.” Founded in 1991 and located in Rantoul, IL, Taylor Studios collaborates with visitor centers, museums, nature centers, hospitals, universities, corporations, and zoos to design, build, and install exhibits. They are known for their quality and attention to detail. Their experience encompasses immersive environments, outdoor signage, scenic work, interactives, models, murals, and dioramas.
