
Taylor Studios Hires Exhibit Designer Randy Rice |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Rantoul, IL – Taylor Studios is pleased to welcome its newest exhibit designer, Randy Rice. Originally from Springfield, IL, Rice earned his bachelor’s of landscape architecture from the University of Illinois in 2008. He has worked as a laborer at Greenview Landscaping and a planning intern for the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission. Most recently, he served as platoon leader for the US Army Reserves in Balad, Iraq. As an exhibit designer, Rice will lead design teams and collaborate with clients on the design of new exhibits. He will develop floor plans, create lighting plans, design exhibits that meet the goals and objectives set by the client, and ensure all designs stay within budget and are produced on schedule. According to Samantha Tableriou, design manager, “Randy comes to us with a U of I Landscape Architecture degree and brings a valuable set of skills to the table. We couldn’t be happier to find someone who fits so well with our team right in our own backyard.” Founded in 1991 and located in Rantoul, IL, Taylor Studios collaborates with visitor centers, museums, nature centers, hospitals, universities, corporations, and zoos to design, build, and install exhibits.
