Shave Your Alpaca and Conquer Your Struggles!

In working with our clients over the past 27 years, we learned of the constant struggles that museums, nature centers, parks, and other interpretive sites face. For a long time, we’ve aspired to start a product line that specifically helps our clients meet the difficulties they face in funding, spatial limitations, and maintenance. We’re happy to announce the official launch of this new line: Shave Your Alpaca, a modular exhibit system from Taylor Studios.

You asked, and we “herd” you!

  • Why isn’t there an inexpensive way to add professional-quality exhibits to my interpretive center? We know – if you want to purchase museum-grade exhibits, it’s costly, and involves fees for both design and production. Many smaller institutions and non-profits simply don’t have the funds for this. Now, with Shave Your Alpaca, you can upgrade to museum-grade exhibits for less. Since the exhibits are semi-customizable, you can create your own configuration(s) and add new pieces as you see fit. Purchase one at a time, or as funding is secured. Your unique space is revitalized at your own pace, as your own schedule allows!

  • What’s up with the name? Alpacas are cute. And, as we’ve come to learn, require occasional shaving. Also, it’s memorable and fun to say. We bet you won’t forget it.

  • Why do exhibits break down so easily? Why are they so difficult and costly to maintain? Good question. It’s because they are built by inexperienced fabricators or by people who don’t care about your experience once the furniture leaves their shop. Our Shave Your Alpaca line is the opposite. Not only are the exhibits durable enough to stand up to continued wear-and-tear, but they are also designed specifically to be low-maintenance. Over 27 years of knowledge and experience has helped us develop this reliable, semi-custom line to suit the needs of thousands of sites.

  • Why didn’t you offer this sooner? We were waiting for the alpacalypse (oh yes, we said it).

We hope that Shave Your Alpaca becomes truly revolutionary for you–our clients, and for those we haven’t yet had the pleasure of working with. Affordable, flexible, museum-grade exhibits that will truly set your interpretive site apart; what more could you want?

Did you Know?

Native to chilly highlands, alpacas are now raised all over the world for their thick, fluffy fleece. In warm weather, they need to be shaved or they’ll get too hot to trot—literally.
